Welcome to the Black Bear Guesthouse a newer Westcoast designed home offering 2 private Suites. The Black Bear Suite, a luxurious self catering private space for your perfect Tofino getaway and the Cedar Suite, a budget friendly simple cozy space for short stays. Our home overlooks the beautiful calm waters of Clayoquot Sound. The Inlet is a protected wildlife sanctuary with river otters, bald eagles, osprey, harbour seals and if you’re lucky you’ll spot a local grey wolf. Come experience the tranquility of the Inlet and stunning views. Whether you’re here to relax, rejuvenate or seek adventure, Black Bear Guesthouse is your home away from home. We are within a few minutes walking distance to popular Chesterman Beach with its long sandy shoreline and great surfing. The town of Tofino with all its amenities, restaurants and boutique galleries is only a 7 minute drive down the road.
Please note the below video shows our home when it operated as a B&B which is temporarily closed now. We now offer 2 private vacation rental Suites to guests. We are working on a virtual tour of the Black Bear Suite and Cedar Suite. This video should still give you a feeling of the property and surrounding area… enjoy!

Cancellation policy : 30 days prior to your arrival or 1 nights payment is taken, within 4 days full amount of reservation is kept.
$20 service fee is applied to all cancellations.
Cancellation dates are validated with a cancellation email provided on the day of cancellation**
Damage: Any items missing or damaged will be charged to you upon checkout.
There are bylaws for noise complaints in Tofino (fines from minimum $500 and up). You will be responsible for these fines if we receive complaints.
